Solar system quiz
Twelve questions about the planets, the Sun and what lies between them, with answers and short explanations checked against NASA.
Easy 12 questions 30 s each · about 9 min Checked against 10 sources

A space round for classrooms, clubs and family quiz nights. The questions move from easy wins, like the Red Planet, to facts that surprise most rooms, like a planet whose day is longer than its year. Every answer comes with a one-line explanation you can read out after each question.
How to run it
- After each question, read the explanation aloud. The facts are what students remember.
- After question 3, show a picture of the planets in order so younger players can follow the rest.
- Before question 9, ask the room to guess out loud first. The answer surprises most people.
