Year in review template with new year goals
This year in review template closes the year with your team and starts the next one with a plan, and it works just as well as a year end review template. People answer on their phones: one word for the year, a quick rating, the biggest win and the lesson to keep, then the goals that matter most for the new year. A five-question New Year quiz ends it on a high. Every slide has notes with what to say and how long to spend, so the session runs itself in about an hour.

Questions about this template
What is a year in review presentation?
A session at the end of the year where a team looks back at wins and lessons, then agrees what matters next. This template does both, with answers from everyone's phones.
Can I use this as a year end review template?
Yes. It works the same way for the end of a financial or project year: rate the year, collect wins and lessons, then agree the focus for the next one. Change the title and the wording to match.
Can I change the questions and goals?
Yes. Using the template makes your own copy, so you can edit every slide, reorder them or add your own. Skip the reflection or the quiz for a 40 minute version.
Is the year in review template free?
Yes. Using the template is free, and so is running it: the Free plan includes 15 activities and up to 100 people per session. Paid plans for bigger rooms start at $7 a month.
Can we run it online?
Yes. Share your screen in the video call. People join in their phone or laptop browser with the PIN or QR code, with no app or account. Swap the pair talk for three minutes of quiet thinking.
