What five minutes are good for
The ring turns coral for the last 30 seconds. If a discussion runs long, press +1 min as many times as you need.
- Brain break. Between two lesson blocks, give students five minutes to move, drink water and reset. Put the timer on the projector so nobody has to ask.
- Quiz round. Five questions in five minutes makes a tidy round for a class review or a team social.
- Short discussion. Small groups talk through one question, then report back. Five minutes keeps it focused.
- Warm-up. Open a meeting or workshop with one icebreaker question and five minutes of answers.
