What fifteen minutes are good for
The ring turns coral for the last 1 minute 30 seconds. In full screen the digits use a dark background, which reads well on most projectors.
- Breakout sessions. Send groups off for fifteen minutes, with the countdown on the main screen and on each group’s laptop.
- Breaks between talks. At a conference or a training day, a 15 minute break timer on the venue screen brings people back on time.
- Short test. A fifteen-minute quiz or test section, with the time visible to every student.
- Check-ins. Keep one-to-one check-ins to a fixed slot, so the next person isn’t left waiting.
