What one minute is good for
The ring turns coral for the last 6 seconds, so a speaker sees the end coming without reading the digits. Press Start again after the chime for a fresh minute.
- Quick reflection. At the end of a class or workshop, give everyone one minute to write down one thing they learned. It is long enough to think and short enough that nobody drifts.
- Speed rounds. Name as many words, countries or film titles as you can before the chime. Short rounds keep the energy up.
- One-minute pitch. Each person or team gets the same 60 seconds to sell an idea. The ring on the projector keeps it fair for everyone.
- Stretch break. Stand up and stretch between two long blocks. One minute is enough to wake a room up.
