Names and prizes stay in your browser. We don’t store them.

How to run a lucky draw

  1. Paste the list. Copy the names from your staff list, guest list or spreadsheet and paste them in, one per line. If your list uses commas or tabs, tick the box to split them.
  2. Press Remove duplicates so everyone has one chance, unless your rules give some people extra entries.
  3. Add the prizes in the order you’ll draw them, one per line. Most draws start with the smaller prizes and save the grand prize for last.
  4. Press Full screen and spin. The wheel shows which prize it is drawing. When it stops, press Next prize: the winner leaves the wheel, so nobody wins twice.
  5. Download the CSV when you’re done. It lists each draw, prize and winner for HR, finance or whoever hands out the prizes.

When a winner isn’t in the room

Many party draws have one rule: you must be there to win. If the name on the wheel isn’t in the room, press Not here? Redraw. Their name leaves the wheel, the result is dropped, and the same prize is drawn again.

If your rules let absent winners keep their prize, press Next prize instead and hand it over later.

Ideas for office and event lucky draws

  • Holiday party. Draw the gift cards first and keep the big prize for the end of the night.
  • Annual dinner or town hall. Put the wheel on the main screen so the whole room sees every draw.
  • Survey or training thank-you. Put everyone who took part on the wheel and draw a few prizes.
  • Conference booth. Paste the names from your sign-up sheet and draw at a set time.

Showing the draw is fair

The winner is chosen with your browser’s cryptographic random number source before the wheel turns, so every name on the list has the same chance.

Run the draw where people can watch it: on the big screen, or a shared screen on a call. For a single prize with no prize list, the giveaway wheel works the same way.

FAQ

Lucky draw questions

How many names can I put in a lucky draw?
Up to 10,000. Paste the whole list from a spreadsheet, and press Remove duplicates if someone is listed twice.
Can I draw several prizes?
Yes. List up to 200 prizes in the order you’ll draw them. Each spin draws the next prize, and the Results tab shows each prize with its winner.
What if the winner isn’t here?
Press Not here? Redraw. Their name leaves the wheel, the result is dropped, and the same prize is drawn again.
Can I keep a record of the winners?
Yes. Download CSV gives you a spreadsheet with the draw number, the prize and the winner. Copy results gives you the same list as text.
Are the names stored?
No. Names and prizes stay in your browser and are never sent to us. A share link carries them inside the link, so only share it with people who should see them.
