Wedding trivia questions and answers
20 questions on wedding customs from around the world: the ring finger, something blue, the chuppah, mehndi, Queen Victoria's dress and the Claddagh ring.
Easy 20 questions 30 s each · about 16 min Checked against two sources

A round for a hen party, a bridal shower, a rehearsal dinner or the quiet hour at the reception while the photos are taken. It covers the customs guests see without knowing why: which finger the ring goes on, who throws the bouquet, why the groom breaks a glass and where the white dress came from. Nothing about the couple, so anyone can play. Twenty questions take about 16 minutes.
How to run it
- Seat people in mixed tables and let each table share one phone. The in-laws and the old school friends end up talking, which is the point.
- Pause after question 8, the white dress. Ask who in the room wore something other than white at their own wedding. You will get at least one good story.
- Questions 16 to 20 are app only and include the two hardest. If the scores are level, question 11, the number of sake sips, settles it.
