Open a session with a word cloud
A word cloud is the fastest way to hear from everyone at once. It works as an opener and as an exit ticket.
Steps
- 1Create a word cloud with a one-word prompt, like "One word for this quarter".
- 2Set words per person to 1 for a clear winner, or 3 for range.
- 3Leave "Ask for a name" off for a pulse check. Turn it on for a class exit ticket.
- 4Keep the profanity filter on.
- 5Go live and give the room about a minute.
- 6Read the biggest words out loud and ask one person to explain theirs.
