Word cloud: prompts, limits and live hiding
A word cloud asks for one word. The words people share most grow biggest on screen, so the mood of the room is clear in seconds. It launched in October 2026.
Word cloud settings
| Setting | Options | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Prompt | Up to 255 characters | Shown big on the host screen and on every phone. |
| Words per person | 1 to 10 | Each person can send a given word once. |
| Ask for a name | On or off | On: the report shows who sent each word. Off keeps everyone anonymous. |
| Profanity filter | On or off | Blocks common English swear words. |
Hiding a word live
If a word should not be on screen, hide it from the host view. It leaves the cloud and the session keeps running.
Writing a good prompt
- Ask for one word, and say so: "In one word, how did this week feel?"
- Keep it concrete. "One word for our biggest blocker" beats "Thoughts?"
- Allow 3 words per person when you want range, 1 when you want a clear winner.
