Live Q&A: every setting explained
Live Q&A lets the room ask questions from their phones and upvote the ones that matter. You answer from the top of the list. It launched in September 2026.
Create a Q&A
- 1Open a folder and create a new Q&A.
- 2Give it a name (up to 120 characters) and, if you like, a description (up to 1,000).
- 3Choose the folder. Teammates with edit access to that folder can moderate.
- 4Set how it runs, using the settings below.
- 5Press Go live and share the PIN.
How it runs
| Setting | Options | What it does |

| Moderation | Auto-approve or Review first | Auto-approve puts questions live at once. Review first holds each one until you approve it. |
| Questions per person | 1 to 10 | Deleted questions still count toward the limit. |
| Screens refresh every | 5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds | How often audience phones update. Your own actions are always instant. |
Audience
| Setting | Options | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Ask for a name | On or off | On: names show on questions, and the report lists who upvoted. Off keeps everyone anonymous. |
| Audience sees all questions | On or off | Off: people see only their own questions and cannot upvote. |
| Sort phones by upvotes | On or off | Off shows the newest questions first. |
| People can edit a question once | On or off | Only before anyone upvotes it. |
| Profanity filter | On or off | Blocks common English swear words. |
After the session
Each run is saved under Session history on the Q&A, with its questions and upvotes.
Common questions
Is RiLiFi Q&A anonymous by default?
Yes. RiLiFi Q&A is anonymous as long as "Ask for a name" is off. No names are collected.
Who can approve RiLiFi Q&A questions?
The host, and any teammate with edit access to the RiLiFi folder.
