How attendees join a session
Your audience never needs an app or an account. They open a browser, enter the PIN, and they are in.
Three ways in
- PIN: people open rilifi.com/join and type the PIN shown on your screen.
- QR code: people scan the code on your screen with their phone camera.
- Link: paste the session link into a chat, an email or a calendar invite.
Names, or no names
Each tool has an "Ask for a name" setting. When it is on, people type a name before they join. When it is off, they skip the name screen and stay anonymous.
In a quiz lobby, players can edit their name once before the game starts. Offensive nicknames are cleaned automatically.
How many people can join
The free plan allows 100 participants per session. Paid plans raise the limit. See Plans and billing.
Common questions
Do RiLiFi attendees need to download anything?
No. RiLiFi runs in the phone browser, so attendees have nothing to install.
Do RiLiFi attendees need an account?
No. Only the RiLiFi host needs an account. Attendees join with a PIN, QR code or link.
Can people join a RiLiFi session from a laptop?
Yes. Any device with a modern browser can join a RiLiFi session.
